Did you just call me a twit?!

You’ve probably figured it out or guessed by now that being one of those always connected types, I’m inevitably a twitter user (a tweep some would say).  In fact, my feed sits humbly at the bottom right of this very blog.  It’s not a perfect medium and certainly not for everyone but it definitely has its merits and I’ll gladly defend those virtues here with a little something extra at the bottom.

Something awesome happened for the first time since I’ve been here.  I sat down at my desk at home, which is now safe to call home might I add, and shuttered for a second as a single unsettling word came to mind: “homework!”  I snickered at just how conditioned school has made me to think about homework at 10pm, skipping a single heartbeat in the process.  “No more homework,” I reminded myself.  Ever again if I so choose.  What a relief.  Ahhhhhhhh

One liner of barely epic proportions

My first (and probably last) psudeo profound sounding statement of the decade was broadcast via twitter and facebook this week.  In case you didn’t cross it on those platforms it reads, “Small steps backward when huge steps forward are required should remind us of how fucked we actually are http://tinyurl.com/pfzgqb.”  Have a read, come back and hear me out.
